#TeamCleanse: TIPS Re-cap

2013 is here, and you are welcome to join me and #TeamCleanse on January 7th to start the journey to a renewed body, mind and spirit. We will be detoxing for physical vitality, clarity, more energy, less mental clutter and a recharged spirit. You will find support for this on my page for 20 days through tips, quotes, and information to challenge, motivate and inspire you. You ready? #LiveEMPOWERED

These tips have been given over a period of time, so if some of it sounds like a repeat, just take the information that's most helpful for you.

Tip #1: Visit http://dhealthstore.com/ if you're looking for a cleanse to do. It's very informative and extensive in what is offered (Full Body Detox/ Blood Cleanse/ Heart Cleanse/ Colon Cleanse/ Anti-Viral Cleanse/ Liver Cleanse/ Kidney Cleanse/ Candida Cleanse/ Fibroid Buster Cleanse/ Fertility Cleanse/ Weight Release Cleanse/ Total Man and Total Woman Cleanse ...etc! Check it out if you're looking for more direction ... #LiveINFORMED xo

#TeamCleanse: Tip #2 Plan, plan, plan for your detox! Have you researched what cleanse you will do, or what foods you will eliminate/ what foods you will eat to be successful?

If you would like to become apart of #TeamCleanse, join us on January 7th! More clarity, energy and personal power... HERE WE COME

#TeamCleanse ~ Tip #3 ... If you're thinking about going vegan/raw for your cleanse starting January 7th, here are some things to have in your "tool kit": Brown rice, wild rice, whole wheat/multi-grain pasta, potatoes, beans, nuts, legumes, meat substitutes ( wheat meat, organic soy products, tempeh), fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, milk substitutes (soy milk, rice milk, almond milk), Ezekiel bread (sprouted grain bread), etc... If you would like to add to this list to help others with vegan/raw choices, be my guest! #LiveWELL

#TeamCleanse Tip #4: The days are winding down to the start of our cleanse on January 7th ... Have you figured out what you're going to do? 7 day/ 10 day/ 20 day cleanse? Do you know what you'll be eating and what you'll be eliminating during that time? Don't forget to plan, plan, plan! Stock up on 'things to go": small prepared meals, raw nuts (almonds, cashews, ect...), fruits (apples, oranges, bananas, etc...) Veges (carrots, celery, salad fixings) ~ It can be very helpful to have these things on you at all times, so that when you get hungry, these are your snacks. #LiveWELL

#TeamCleanse Tip #5: Canned vegetables are NOT a good source for real nutrition. Fresh vegetables are the way to go. They are still alive. Give life to life #LiveWELL

#TeamCleanse Tip #6: Depending on what you're deciding to eliminate or add during your cleanse this January, here are some small prepared meals that you can consider carrying with you: Beans and rice combinations with natural seasonings (Sea Salt/ Olive Oil/ herbs/ etc...), Pasta dishes made with multi-grain/ wheat/ or rice pasta with homemade tomato sauce or store bought tomato sauce with less chemicals/ sugar (white/ high fructose corn syrup)/ and preservatives. Hummus (different flavor varieties) with multi-grain or whole wheat pita bread/ tortilla/ healthy chip alternatives/ or raw vegetables for dipping (carrot/celery/ etc...). Fruit salads made with cut-up fresh fruits (apples, berries/ bananas, pears, etc...); and maybe you can sprinkle some natural lemon juice over the top for preservation throughout the day. Trail mix: especially include raw almonds. They are a great source of protein, which helps to satisfy hunger.

Other tips: Try brown rice, wild rice and black rice instead of white rice.

Make Google, Bing, ASK, Youtube and other information highways your friend during your cleanse. The web is packed with recipes, information and support for your healthy movement.

I will be posting on my pages frequently to support your forward movement as well. This will be our health headquarters. Not only will we be cleansing the body, but we will also be strengthening the mind, and supporting the spirit. #LiveEMPOWERED #HealthIsWealth

#TeamCleanse Tip #7: Here are some appliances that can come in very handy during your cleanse and beyond ~ A juicer (for juicing some of your favorite fruits and vegetables while getting a lot of the nutrients and enzymes), food processor (great for chopping, grating and smoothing foods/ it cuts time down time for preparation of things as well), high performance blender (for smoothies/ pureed soups/ and incorporating whole vegetables), crock pot (great for chopping fresh vegetables and making a delicious stew/ or letting your beans simmer in a hearty broth of vegetables and herbs/ or having meals already prepared for an on-the-go lifestyle), alkaline/purifying water machine (clean water and better hydration helps the body tremendously), a dehydrator (great for a stock of healthy snacks - dried fruits/dried tomato/raw treats/etc...), a rice cooker (consistent rice preparation), a toaster oven (a quicker way to cook and use less energy).

#TeamCleanse ... Monday, January 7th is fast approaching! Have you figured out what kind of cleanse you're doing? Have you been thinking about planned meals, snacks, books you might want to read, or movies or videos you might want to watch to support you on your journey? Are you mentally prepared to give yourself a much needed break from some toxins in your life (food, thoughts, people?!) ha ha... This is your gentle reminder to plan, plan, plan your way to a successful detox. Discipline = Freedom "Doing what you ought to do, so that you can do what you want to do" ... I'm sure it will be a challenge for most of us, but think of the great rewards on the other side of it. If that's not exciting you, then strengthen your reason "Why?" you're doing it. ~ Tip #8: Think of all the things that you WILL benefit from if you do this for yourself. Write it down if needed, and go back to your list for motivation when necessary. If you do your part, what reward is on the other side for you? Make it so good that you don't want to miss out on having it. ~ #HealthIsWealth
