Talk about pushing until you see change ... I hit a real rough spot for a few years. I questioned my passion for entertainment, I parted ways with what used to be a dear friend, I hit some financial skid marks, and I'd never faced fear like I'd faced it before. It was tough. My ego got bruised, and my spirit was a little worn. I had a question mark on my head and I was truly facing a mystery of how to turn things around.
I had gotten sidetracked. I wasn't planting seeds anymore. I was just ... coasting. Soon, I was looking at dry soil. It's interesting how our lowest points can contribute to our highest points if we learn from them. I couldn't wait for someone to give me permission to get my sh*t together. I knew it was up to me to take the proverbial 'bull by the horns' and tell it where to go. I changed my language, I changed my routines, I changed my life. YOU CAN TOO.
In the midst of all this, something powerful happened. Instead of shrinking in a corner, I came out swinging for victory. I found a real fighter in me. I was determined to get back to the basics and reinvent myself. I knew it would take great effort, focus, dedication and courage. It would also take me re-examining what could bring about real satisfaction and joy in my life again. It didn't matter. I was up for the challenge.
I'm very grateful for Anthony Robbins, and so many other mentors and teachers along the way. Mr. Robbins kick started my engine once again, and I haven't looked back, except to see how far I've come. I happened across his 'Get The Edge' CD in the beginning of 2010. I was asked if I wanted to hear it, and I said "sure". Well, several CD's, books, seminars, meditations, journals, tears, laughter, workouts, blogs, vlogs and inspirational writings later, HERE I AM. Because of these things, I've expanded on what I have to offer. I'm an entertainer, motivational speaker, inspirational writer, and now author. I'm also spreading my wings as an entrepreneur. What a journey...
If you're looking for a life more fulfilled, it's in our choices and perception. I hope for you the same things I'm choosing for myself: To know my greater potential, to live life more fully, authentically, lovingly and joyfully; to exercise the courage needed to stand in the face of fear so that I can know the victory on the other side; to BELIEVE strongly again in the great gifts, talents and capabilities I came on the planet with; and to know the beauty of life beyond my limited points of view. There's so much more. There's always more... #LiveEMPOWERED and here's to giving extraordinary efforts in 2013 to receive extraordinary results.
